Antonio Henrique Junior better known as "Juniao" started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2002 at Gracie Barra in his home town Joao Pessoa in Paraiba. Moving to London, England Juniao became a student under Roger Gracie in 2005 while still a blue belt. After many years of training at the famed Roger Gracie Academy HQ in West London Juniao received his Black belt from Roger in 2013. In the same year he was also asked to become an instructor. He teaches mostly the basic classes laying a great foundations to all new comers to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He also teaches some competition classes.
For Juniao Jiu Jitsu is very much his lifestyle. As a multiple European Medalist and 2x Euros Champion, there is not many parts of his life that he can not attribute to the gentle art. He is very much looking forward to sharing his knowledge to those in the Leicestershire area at RGA Leicester.
Drew Sullivan started his sporting career in basketball where he has since represented his country at Olympic Level. He has also represented his country 100 times which is currently the most caps for the Senior Men's team. In 2010 Drew started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the recommendation of a friend as he was looking for something different to help with his fitness and flexibility.
The moment he set foot on the mats he fell in love with the art. Drew competed in his first competition under the Roger Gracie academy where he won the 'White Belt' category at super heavy weight. In June 2015 Drew received his 'Blue Belt' from Roger Gracie at the academies grading day. He then went on to compete at the British Nationals, taking home 'Gold'. He still refers to RGA HQ which is located in West London as his Jiu Jitsu home.
10x Brazilian World Champion Roger Gracie, grandson of Carlos Gracie the creator of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Roger was awarded his black belt by his cousin Renzo Gracie in 2003. A member of the Gracie family Roger is the son of Reila Gracie (daughter of Carlos Gracie) and Mauricio Gomes (one of a handful of men who had the honour of receiving their black belts from BJJ legend Rolls Gracie).
Roger has put together a team of instructors from Brazil and other parts of the world, all trained to the highest standards of BJJ instruction. Together, they teach the Gracie family’s system of BJJ at the world famous Roger Gracie Academy in London, and their associated schools throughout the UK and the rest of the world.
